Uploading a custom report

Uploading a custom report! Let's get started. Navigate to the All Available Reports page in MyGeotab by either clicking Reports, then All Available Reports, or searching for All Available Reports in the menu. Click + Report in the top right. Click on the field here, or drag and drop your file here from your folder. If you click on the field, a window will open for you to browse your local files. Find and select the file you want to upload for your custom report. You can change the name of the report by clicking on the name. Adjust the report settings using the tabs. The next steps provide an example of edits you may want to make, but are not required. In the Report view tab, you can set which groups of users can see the custom report. Toggle Show report in dropdown list to Yes to display the report on the All Available Reports page. Toggle Run report by to Assets. Click the Dashboard tab. Click Create new chart. Set the Chart type and Chart name. Under Display Options, select which groups and individuals will see this chart on their dashboard. Under Report Data Configuration, select the Date range, Refresh period for data, and Next run date for the report. Select which groups to include data from in the report. Set any desired Additional Report Options. Click the Email report tab. Toggle Email options to On. Under Display Options, select the recipients of the emailed report. Under Report Data Configuration, select the Type of report users should receive. Set the Date range, Refresh period for the data, Next run date, and which groups to include data belonging to in the report. Select any desired Additional Report Options. Click Save when finished. On the All Available Reports page, Custom reports have their own category in the library. On the report card, you will see the date range and refresh period settings for the Dashboard and Email versions of the report. While it is not required that these date settings be the same, matching the dates and refresh periods will avoid confusion and false discrepancies. Navigate to the Dashboard page in MyGeotab to see the report chart. You can drag and drop to organize the chart on your dashboard. Congratulations!
