Enabling Ford Customer Connectivity Settings

Enabling Ford Customer Connectivity Settings! Let's get started. Before enabling the Ford Connected Car Settings, or CCS, start the vehicle with the ignition ON and confirm it has been taken out of Transport Mode. The vehicle screen must be active and responsive before you proceed. Select which screen type your Ford vehicle has. On the vehicle's screen, press Settings to access the vehicle's configuration options. Inside Settings, press FordPass Connect to view the vehicle's connection and communication options. Select Connectivity Settings to access the settings that allow the vehicle to share data with external systems. Enable the Vehicle connectivity toggle. This activates the Connected Car Settings required for your Geotab device to communicate with the vehicle. Confirm the toggle is in the ON position before continuing. Once Vehicle connectivity, Location, and Vehicle Data & Remote Control are all enabled, turn the vehicle fully off. This power cycle allows the new settings to take effect. On the vehicle's screen, press Settings to access the vehicle's configuration options. Inside Settings, press Connectivity to view the vehicle's connection and communication options. Select Connected Vehicle Features to access the settings that allow the vehicle to share data with external systems. Enable the Vehicle connectivity toggle. This activates the Connected Car Settings required for your Geotab device to communicate with the vehicle. Confirm the toggle is in the ON position before continuing. Once Vehicle connectivity, Location, and Vehicle Data & Remote Control are all enabled, turn the vehicle fully off. This power cycle allows the new settings to take effect. On the vehicle's screen, press the Settings icon to access the vehicle's configuration options. Inside Settings, press Connectivity to view the vehicle's connection and communication options. Select Connected Vehicle Features to access the settings that allow the vehicle to share data with external systems. Enable the Vehicle connectivity toggle. This activates the Connected Car Settings required for your Geotab device to communicate with the vehicle. Confirm the toggle is in the ON position before continuing. Once Vehicle connectivity and Share Vehicle Data are both enabled, turn the vehicle fully off. This power cycle allows the new settings to take effect. Restart the vehicle and allow it to run for approximately 5 minutes. You may drive the vehicle during this time.
