Longtime customer of mine is looking for a customer management system and something especially that has a good dispatching program for commercial and residential snow removal. Currently the top contender that he tells me he's looking at is Aspire ( service Titan is the parent company along with Bridgestone and I know they do have an API integration but he doesn't want to start reinventing the wheel and having to do all that work he likes to plug and play system already &amp; I have seen in the geotab marketplace that fleet Nova has a service Titan product as well but they've told us it does not work with aspire by design as its closed system for azuga) --and he really likes what he's seeing there and he was telling me frankly if we decide to do it then we're going to switch everything over there. It would appear that Azuga is their proprietary choice for this CRM -- but if there's another one that works as well that is more Geo tab friendly I'd love to hear from any of you or----- if anyone has a suggestion for an equally good Geo tab friendly platform instead of aspire send it my way so I can share it with him.

My question would be if a customer has a vehicle sitting for extended periods of time--the engine is off--no ignition cycles---but the battery remains fully charged---please confirm what we should expect to see in the database as far as the live location of the vehicle. I know that we have talked about this for over a decade that the go to vice will switch into sending out a heartbeat every six hours after midnight if the vehicle is off and not moving is that correct and will it just keep sending out one heartbeat every six hours ongoing and there would be a last known location visible on the database? I just had a customer that had a vehicle that sat for three weeks or more and they were promising me that the vehicle had dropped right off the system completely on the live map thank you very much

Here in Ottawa Canada where we get a pretty good healthy winter I have a number of residential snow blowing customers --geotab customers who are landscapers in the warmer months and send their tractors out to clear snow from residential driveways in the winter time for years we've been going through this looking for a good application that will take the tractor from driveway to driveway with turn by turn navigation something that is efficient to use on a tablet or smartphone currently when you use the routing application out of the stock my Geo tab platform it's very clunky as you have to go back and forth with multiple clicks between screens too begin the next part of your journey has anybody invented or discovered a nice application ( besides the good folks over at route for me---who make a great application but it's more designed for the package delivery world )  if anybody has a good suggestion please let me know

https://mavenmachines.com/ Hello hello I have one of my very good customers that I've had for eight years that is telling me they are going to start transitioning their fleet over to this provider over the next year ---when I do a little research on this other provider it looks like they work with a number of our marketplace partners like McLeod --TMW --and Descartes - With all of these Geotab partners on their website I wonder if this new provider can use the Geotab gps devices as their backbone? --I hesitate to call Maven so as not to alert my customer --( this customer has expressed genuine interest in solar trailer trackers and lift truck tracking )

Can anyone else comment on your experiences with the new FORD Telematics integration? We've had 2 customers take this on &amp; one took over a week for the devices to begin coming through, showing up on the DB. A second customer has been almost a full week also. Maybe this is the growing pains of a new service but its not winning us any friends like this. The Geotab rep on this -she's been very helpful but the rest is lacking----
