One home for everything The biggest change you'll notice is that the Geotab Community is no longer a standalone destination. We're now part of the Geotab Support Site, which means Community discussions, Help articles, and Academy learning content are all accessible from one place. No more bouncing between tabs to find what you need — it's all right here. You might notice that some of our Knowledg Articles still take you to the old URLs but without any of the old Community features — that's only temporary as we migrate them into the Help articles section of this site. Logging in Most of you can log in using your existing MyGeotab or MyAdmin database credentials. Even better — if you visit the Community directly from MyGeotab or MyAdmin, you'll be logged in automatically. No extra steps required. If you run into any trouble logging in, please reach out to us at community@geotab.com and we'll help you get sorted. Your username may look a little different To avoid duplicate usernames across the new platform, the system automatically generated unique usernames for all migrated accounts during the migration. If your username isn't quite right, you can update it anytime in your profile settings — it only takes a second. Smarter search Finding answers just got a whole lot easier. The new Community features AI-powered search that understands natural language questions, so you can ask things the way you'd actually say them and get to the right answer faster. When searching from the Community homepage, you can choose to search just our Community questions or from all resources on the Support Site by selecting the Community, Academy or AI Answers filters from the left-side dropdown in the search bar. <a href="https://support.geotab.com/community/all-posts" target="_blank">AI post categorization</a> Not sure which category your question belongs in? Don't worry about it — when you post a question, our AI will automatically categorize it under the correct topic based on your title and content. Did you miss last week's live webinar Setting Up MyGeotab for ELD Compliance with @JoyB-1751​ ? No worries - you can find a copy of the webinar on the Geotab Community Events page! Joy and @EishiFUN​ were able to answer a lot of the questions that came in live, but we ran out of time so here's a list of the remaining questions that Joy and Eishi will answer throughout the week:If a non-sleeper berth rule set is chosen, can the driver still log sleeper berth but still get the violation alerts? I ask because if the sleeper berth (SB) rule set is chosen, the driver does not get alerts because GT is calculating any over 2-hour off duty/SB entries.Can we use the ELD Settings Validator for non-commercial drivers?For Mexico, is there already a set of rules that can be applied?Can you give an example of why a driver would need access to shared data in the Driver tab?What can I do if I do not want my drivers to have access to other drivers' information?Do all users have access to the ELD Settings Validator?We are getting a lot of unassigned logs when they are moved within the yard. We're pleased to announce that the Geotab Drive mobile app, along with our current GO device offerings, have now successfully completed the Canadian ELD certification process through CSA Group, an accredited third-party certification body. This includes the GO7, GO8, GO9, and GO9+ devices in conjunction with the Geotab Drive mobile app for both Android and iOS devices. In addition, all certified Geotab ELD devices and apps offer the option for variable day start time, not just midnight, a key differentiator for ELD users. Apologies for the late announcement on this topic as it was recently uncovered within our development team. As of MyGeotab release 5.7.2103, the JSON Serializer responsible for parsing API calls has changed to no longer allow single quote (') usage within the call parameters. Integrators should now solely use double quotes (") for this purpose. The expected error result for single quote usage can be found in this post in the Integrator's Hub.The new Serializer logic only accepts property names and string values in double quotes because that format is required by the RFC8259 specification and is the only format considered to be valid JSON.For any questions, please visit this same post within the Integrator's Hub to connect with our SDK experts.

According to the <a href="https://support.geotab.com/en-GB/harnesses/installation/doc/harness-cheat?utm_campaign=com_com_gb_null&amp;utm_medium=content&amp;utm_source=internal_community" target="_blank">Harness Cheat Sheet</a>, Mercedes Benz Sprinters from 2019+ should use the OBDII port if available and a HRN-GS16K22-A in the OBD port. If not available, there is a PSM connection option but it doesn't provide the fault data or EV data and is a more complicated install. That being said, when I looked up your specific VIN in our <a href="https://www.geotab.com/harness-lookup/?utm_campaign=com_com_gb_null&amp;utm_medium=content&amp;utm_source=internal_community" target="_blank">Harness Lookup Tool</a> it didn't show up, so you can also leverage <a href="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jmXo8LlyoMjNCGi8V9a42le6WODAgRWnpYMb_z5BUZI/edit?usp=sharing" target="_blank">this template</a> and email vincheck@geotab.com to be 100% sure before making any purchases. Please let me know if you have any other questions! Warm regards,Gen

Hi Ray! You can find multiple methods for sending the reset password link in this knowledge article: <a href="https://community.geotab.com/s/article/How-to-reset-the-password-of-a-MyGeotab-user-profile" target="_blank">How to reset the password of a MyGeotab user profile</a>  The article above covers several methods for doing this based on your situation and the user/driver. The password reset link is only valid for one hour after it has been sent, so you'll likely need to redo these steps if you already tried and were hoping to have the same email from earlier resent. There are two sections at the bottom of the article "Why am I not receiving a password reset email" and "Important to Know" that are very useful if you're having trouble with this. If that doesn't work, please reach back out to us! Best of luck,Gen
