I'm attempting to fish out a solution for a customer that wants to restrict access to one of our partner's dashcam add-ins. A custom "hack" while we encourage the partner to implement this officially or to use getSession() to check against their users list. It was something like this and I could have sworn I found one of the new add-ins using this. "addinSecurityIdentifiers":{"ViewAddinIdentifier": "custom_idValueView"}

We store the actual data points (StatusData) so you could take the activeFrom and activeTo and search for the acceleration forward and backward diagnostic and get the g force value from there.

You can add your own using the Types button along the top of the Zones page.</li><li>Consider using "Inside" instead of Enter/Exit. "Event Start" is the "Enter" and "Start + Duration = Event End" is your "Exit"</li></ol>

It's good practice too, I have a customer that is just kicking off their own Geotab-ESRI integration. I'll be prepared if they run into anything! @INACTIVE - D&amp;C Dashboard​ ,I'm not much of a Java developer, so the inner workings of the event server code are a bit of a mystery to me. Can you check to make sure you're using the latest release for both the geotab-transport and geotab-adapter components for GeoEvent? The latest release v8 (April 2021) introduces the 'logrecord-id' attribute that's sent over from geotab-transport into the adapter..and by extension, is sourced from the LogRecord object in the Geotab API's JSON response. ESRI ArcGIS GeoEvent Server stream service will not stream and throws schema error

Use an exception rule to capture the Entering/Exiting times. Make sure you use an OR condition though, or it won't work as Enter/Exit are moments in time, not a running timer like Inside/Outside. Separate exceptions also work as well, it can save a little time. That will make the system do the heavy lifting and you can pull the LogRecords and whatever other data you want using the timestamps and Ids you pull from the ExceptionEvent. ----Now.. time for a bit of snark because that's the mood I'm in. If you want to spend all of your cloud money instead of Geotab's you could: <ul><li>Pull all the log records and feed them back into GetAddresses() to get the zone name (also spends lots of Geotab cloud money)</li><li>Pull all the LogRecords and all the zones and write your own "does this lat/long fall within a zone" logic</li><li>Pull all the logs into a BigQuery database and use the BQ spatial functions. (this one is actually pretty fun on a real project)</li><li>Train an AI experiment to understand spatial systems and tell you if the vehicle resembles a tiger.</li></ul> <img src="/forum/plugins/gcs-uploads/files/0692J00000EOg07QAD.png" alt="Capture5" /> .

Technically correct is the best kind of correct! lol However, it is a great lead on how you could do it. Make some sweet romance with the Chrome Console to examine Surfsight add-in, it's API calls and the javascript that drives it. There SHOULD be a blob of code in there that exposes what calls to make to MyG and to Surfsight to link things together.. I hope.

Geotab actively maintains that code so you don't have you roll your own. Also, something to consider is using the Geotab API Adapter which is a Windows (and Linux?
