Customizing work hours via rules. Let's get started. Navigate to the Rules page in MyGeotab by either selecting Groups & Rules, then Rules, or searching for Rules in the menu. Productivity rules help you track whether assets are being used effectively and limit excessive, unnecessary fleet costs or unauthorized use. After you establish zones on the map, these criteria help determine when asset activity is authorized. Unauthorized Home Stops identifies stops at Home type zones during work hours. Select Edit work hours to define the schedule used by this rule. Alternatively, navigate to the Work Hours page in MyGeotab by either selecting People, then Work Hours, or searching for Work Hours in the menu. Open Standard hours to view the schedule used by rules that rely on work hours. By default, rules that rely on work hours track data only between 8 AM and 5 PM from Monday to Friday. Select the pencil icon to edit the days and hours during which the asset is authorized to operate. Update the schedule to match the intended operating hours before confirming the changes. Select the check icon to confirm the updated values for that day. Save the schedule in the top right after you finish making all required changes. Congratulations!
