Getting started with tachograph

Getting started with tachograph! Let's get started. Open the Tachograph menu in MyGeotab by either selecting Compliance, then Tachograph, or searching for Tachograph in the menu. Select which type of tachograph data you want to view. For this overview, let's start with Files. Welcome to Tachograph RDL! Use the Remote Digital Download module to manage your fleet's download status and company cards. The Status page tracks the remote download status for all fleet vehicles and drivers. Here, you can view the last update time, next scheduled download date, device communication status and more. We recommend weekly checks to keep the data updated and schedule new downloads, including for the same day. The Downloads page centralises your legal files, sorted and ready to download for analysis. From here, you can switch between vehicle and driver files. Track downloaded files and their status. Lastly on this page, you can bulk download tachograph files or upload new ones. The Company cards page shows all cards connected to the system. Here, you can see active cards and their expiry dates to ensure compliance. The Settings page lets you customize tachograph file download parameters and preferences, ensuring fleet compliance and efficiency. Let's explore a few of the settings. Here, you can choose the country and file format to meet your company's standards. Enhance efficiency with automatic download intervals for your fleet and drivers. Set night work hours according to your country's regulations. Next, let's look at Driving Times. Welcome to Tachograph TAC! Use the Time Activity Control module to monitor driver workdays in real time and generate historical reports from legal downloads. The Status page lets you check and analyse driving and rest time data, including cumulative times, forecasts, and bonuses. Let's explore a few options. From here, see your Working day and Rest progress bars for drivers. Filter data for specific drivers. The Work report page displays the total activity performed in a vehicle by a driver. Here, you can verify correct activity logging to avoid sanctions and track driver activities to comply with labour regulations. Tailor the report data, and export as needed, for thorough compliance management. Lastly, let's look at Infringements. Welcome to Tachograph AFA! In the Advanced File Analysis module, you can view all necessary information to prevent and correct driver behaviour to avoid infringements, and to document and appeal penalties. The Infringements report page shows all fine-punishable infringements and records, including excessive driving, speeding, and manual entry errors. You can easily toggle between vehicle and driver infringements for a comprehensive compliance overview. Lastly, choose between the summary or a detailed view. Congratulations!
