Commercial fleets often rely on standard proof-of-delivery methods like signatures and photos. However, key job details are often captured informally on paper, in memory, or in unstructured notes, leading to inconsistency. This creates operational friction when you need to validate service completion, resolve disputes, or investigate exceptions. Critical execution context is often lost outside your main system of record.

Capture proof at the point of service

Custom Forms enables structured data capture during service delivery right within Geotab Drive. Drivers and field technicians can complete configurable digital forms to log workflow-specific details. You can easily capture the exact work performed, service conditions, inspections, damage reports, and exceptions. Once submitted, this data is automatically attached to the related appointment and becomes a permanent part of the operational record.

Why it matters

This update extends Routing & Optimization into a complete workflow from dispatch through service completion to verified proof of service. By embedding structured job forms directly into the routing workflow, every job is executed and documented consistently. This seamless process leads to fewer disputes, faster claim resolution, and highly reliable proof of what happened on-site.

Availability

Custom Forms will be added to the Mobile module in July, 2026. For this initial release, setup and configuration are fully managed by our team to ensure zero disruption to your existing workflows. To get started and enable these forms for your fleet, contact optimizationsupport@geotab.com.
