Fleet managers can now identify systemic patterns, analyze trends, and resolve high volumes of events faster without repetitive manual work.

What's new?

Group Benchmarking: Target coaching where it has the most impact. The new View by Groups feature lets you compare entire teams, shifts, or regions side-by-side. This allows you to identify whether a performance issue is structural or isolated before assigning corrective actions.

Exception trend visualization: Understand performance without counting records. A combined stacked bar and pie chart displays exception volume over time alongside a proportional breakdown by category. Volume trends and their primary drivers are visible in a single view.

Bulk Edit Operations: Eliminate repetitive administrative workflows. Select and action multiple exception records in a single step. You can update high volumes of events simultaneously without processing records one by one. Image showing new bulk edit operations

Why it matters
  • Identify systemic issues faster: Determine whether a safety or compliance problem is structural before deciding where to focus resources.
  • Spot trends instantly: Visualize whether exception volume is growing and which categories are driving it, without manual data compilation.
  • Act at scale: Process and resolve high volumes of exception records in a single action.
Availability

The updated experience is available in Open Beta beginning in mid June, 2026. Users with access to Exceptions reporting can access these updates by enabling them under Profile > Beta Features > Exceptions page upgrades in MyGeotab.
