Managing jobs in a work order

Managing jobs in a work order! Let's get started. Navigate to the Work Order Management page in MyGeotab by either selecting Maintenance, then Work Order Management, or searching for Work Order Management in the menu. Use the summary tiles to identify request actions, including Overdue requests. Open the Jobs tab to find and manage individual jobs. Review the Pending summary tile to see incomplete jobs. Select Filters to narrow the list so you can focus on the jobs you need to manage. In the side panel, choose the criteria that best match the jobs you want to review, then select Apply at the bottom. Expand the asset details to review every job associated with that Asset. Select the Order reference to open the related work order and view its jobs. If additional Work Requests exist for this asset, select add Jobs to view them. Review the related work requests before adding them to the work order. Open the specific job whose details or progress you need to update. Update the status as the job progresses so the work order reflects its current state. Priority is based on the Severity of the initial work request. Change the Priority only when the job requires a different level of attention. Record when work begins with the Job started date and time. Please note that only the Job completed and Job status fields are required; the other fields are optional. Use the Service work accomplished field to identify the type of work completed for this job. Add the VMRS system code to support consistent maintenance reporting. Add details or special notes that help explain the work performed to the Description field. Confirm the currency and record the costs to support repair cost analysis over time. The currency defaults to your preferred currency and can be updated in your profile. Add supporting information or files that provide useful context for the job to the Notes and Attachments section. In the Job completed field, record when the job was finished so the work order accurately reflects the timing. Update the Job status to Completed only after the work is finished so the work order accurately reflects the job's current state. Select Save in the top right after confirming the job details. MyGeotab returns you to the work order, where you can review any remaining jobs associated with it. Congratulations! You've completed this tutorial for how to manage jobs in a work order.
