Repairing asset inspection defects in the Drive App (USA/Outside North America)

Repairing asset inspection defects in the Drive App! This tutorial covers defects in the USA and Outside of North America. Let's get started. Tap the Asset Inspection tile on the Dashboard. Tap Repair. There are three default options for a defect: Not repaired, Resolved, and "Repair not necessary for the safe operation of the vehicle". Note that your options may differ based on your security clearance. If the defect, no matter it's severity, is left in the Not repaired status, you cannot do another asset inspection. Use the Resolved status if the defect has been repaired. Use the Repair not necessary status if you do not need to fix the defect right now. The system will automatically add this defect to your next asset inspection. For this example, tap Resolved. Enter a remark about the repair. Tap Save when finished. Once you submit the repair, you can review and certify the asset inspection. Note: the Certify step is only required on inspections with defects indicated. You can enter a remark about the asset inspection. Tap Certify previous inspection when finished. The asset inspection status changes to Reviewed and the system now allows you to perform additional asset inspections. Tap the back arrow to return to the main asset inspection screen. From here, you can perform additional asset inspections or return to the Dashboard. Congratulations!
