Performing roadside checks in the Drive App for Hours of Service

Performing roadside checks in the Drive App for Hours Of Service. Let's get started. From your main dashboard, locate and tap the "Roadside Check" button or tile. You will be prompted to make a PIN. This PIN will secure the app to ONLY the roadside check part of the app. if you don't wish to use a pin, click No Pin. Once you've chosen a PIN, tap Set PIN. You will be asked to confirm the PIN. Once confirmed tap Confirm PIN. Once you have entered Roadside Check, the system will typically present you with options for transferring your logs. Web Service Transfer, Email, and Compliance print (which will display it on screen). The Roadside Check will default to the country rules your system is set to. In this example, it is set to USA. If you are not in the USA, you can select I'm not in USA. the officer may ask you to enter a specific code or comment. The officer will tell you which transfer method to select. Follow their instructions. For this example, the officer has requested an Email transfer. If the transfer was successful, a notification will appear saying that it was delivered. If the transfer was not successful, a notification will appear informing you of the failure. Take a note of the failure reason to report it to your Admin. To show the officer your records of duty status, scroll down and tap on Compliance Print. Here you can get the display version of the Roadside Check. You can tap on the arrows to display the information of different days. You can also tap on the date itself to jump to a specific date. You can scroll through to see a Graph or the day, and the individual records of duty status underneath. You can return to the main page by tapping the arrow beside Compliance report. If you are also using Asset Inspections you can toggle between Hours of Service and Asset Inspections by using the tabs at the top. When you're done, tap Exit. If you set a pin initially, you'l be prompted to enter it to exit. If you have forgotton the pin, the app will exit this screen automatically when the vehicle starts moving.
