Why does geotab app remains on Driving after driver parks and not change to ON status?

Hey, @SAyon-1789!

What @ArashK-1211 said is correct. To put it a little more simply, the system needs a way to determine if the driver has stopped driving or if he is just stopping while in the middle of driving (e.g. at a light, etc.). When your driver stops driving, the app is counting down to 5 minutes. If the driver has been stopped for a full five minutes, it switches him over to an ON status from the time the vehicle stopped (5 minutes prior).

I recently made a short video on this, which you can check out here:

Thank you for asking on community .

1. The Drive App uses GPS to determine the vehicle's status.

2. If the vehicle remains motionless for five minutes, the app will prompt the driver to change their duty status.

3. If the driver does not respond within one minute, the status will automatically switch from Drive (D) to ON Duty.

4. If the status does not change, check for connection errors by pressing the information icon in the top right corner of the app.

5. The app may not be responsive if the device is not connected to power.

the only suggestion is to annotate but will not clear the Driving status or update the availability.

Please let me know if this helps you move
