Using the myGeotab Adapter API, I can't seem to find the data I need in the published data dictionary.  Looking for "Status" where valid values are OFF, ON, D, INT_D, SB, and YM.  Also looking for "Duration"

Doesn't the SDK obect model match one-to-one to the GeotabAdaptor database Schema ? e,g., DVIRLogs table does not contain AuthorityAddress as specified in Geotab Developers (SDK Manual). If we need these properties in the GeotaAdaptor database what should be done ?

I'm trying to locate fuel consumption data while using the Geotab API adapter. When I log into MyGeotab.com, I can find fuel-related information, but I am unable to find any fuel-related data or the corresponding tables via the API adapter.I need this data to calculate MPG (Miles Per Gallon). I have already located the odometer data required for the calculation. I initially assumed the fuel data might be in the Diagnostics table, but it doesn't appear to be there.Could someone please guide me on where to find this fuel data or suggest alternative tables that might contain this information?Thank you for your assistance!

However, I've noticed in the data dictionary that this setup doesn't include information on the posted speed limit. Has anyone encountered and solved this issue? Just managed to successfully run the API adapter on linux at the command prompt. Looking for a way to install it &amp; run it as a windows service-like. that will restart on reboot or failure. Any pointers? Thanks,Nic

The 'AdapterMachineName' of ***-ops' is different than that of ***-data-01' logged in the adapter database for the 'BinaryDataProcessor' AdapterService.

Hello CommunityI starting to use the database MyqGeotab API Adapter and Api OPtimizer and have a couple of questions about the data model.1.- In the Optimizer db I have the [DiagnosticsT] with the [DiagnosticCode] which is really useful for our case, but I want to link them to he corresponding RuleiD and cannot see how to relate this code within the db.  2.- I want to use the user groups to classify the exceptionevents, in the users table there's no information about the user groups, where is this information in the db? Thanks in advance for your help

Started to use the API adapter few days ago and really impressed with the quality of the work. I ran into an issue. myGeotab portal shows asset details on a page that takes as an input the device GeotabID and displays the device.name plus asset type and asset groups.  Can't seem to be able to locate the type and group table/fields in the API adapter database. Do in need to use different means to download them? Thanks,Nic

I've setup the API Adapter and I'm trying to retrieve as much data from it as I can that I used to pull through the C# SDK. One thing I absolutely need to get is odometer data. I'm not seeing that I'm getting StatusData for all of our units for the odometer. I can see units that are showing odometer values updating when I look at our asset list in the website, and if I use the SDK to pull the 'DiagnosticOdometerAdjustmentId' diagnostic (where FromDate and EndDate are set to UtcNow), I get the updated value. But I'm apparently not getting the corresponding data flowing into the Optimizer database. From what it looks like, the only odometer data I'm getting in the Optimizer database is the 'DiagnosticOdometerId' data, not the adjustment data. This isn't happening for all units though. So, does this mean that there's something wrong that's not allowing the Geotab device to read the actual odometer reading from the ECM and is therefore having to generate a guessed amount? If so, is there any way to get adjustment odometer data through the API adapter? I'd like to be able to rely on the API adapter data as much as possible, but in order to do that, I need to be able to get odometer readings for all of our units. Thanks,Sean

Determining unit's current odometer with API Adapter data in Optimizer database

I currently retrieve from the SDK any duty status logs that show a codriver but we don't show the driver in our backend system having a codriver and then email this information to the appropriate party to see if the codriver should be removed in Geotab. I'm not pulling in data with the API adapter and I see that we're getting JSON data in the CoDriver field in the DutyStatusLogs table when the driver has a codriver, but the Id for the codriver is always empty. Is there a way to have this be populated with the Geotab user id of the codriver? If there is no codriver on the log, the CoDriver field in the record is null, so we can identify which drivers have an attached codriver, but we just can't determine who the codriver is based on the field being empty in the database. Thanks,Sean
