Fuel Tracker Add-in

Hi everyone When a fuel fill-up is registered in geotab drive through the fuel tracker edit, does the data feed the fuel and energy use module? in addition to knowing the cost of the fuel fill-up, can the system use this information to estimate fuel consumption and performance?

Hi everyone, i was looking for this add-in and find out it´s not avalaible anymore in south america, there is another free solution for this region?

Hi <a href="/user/eishifun" data-id="1044" data-value="EishiFUN" data-denotation-char="@" class="text-decoration-none mention">@EishiFUN</a>  Just out of curiosity, I used a vehicle from a specific fleet as an example, and the results are different—even when I enter exact dates. Does Geotab ACE draw its data from different sources than the Fuel and EV Energy Usage?

Problem trying to work out Fuel usage. I get a different answer from Geotab ACE as I do in Fuel and EV Energy Usage

I realise that isn't the case, but when a device is in suspend mode, sometimes displays incorrect locations; we've had instances of devices in that state showing their location as being in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, for example.

Why does a GO device send incorrect coordinates?

Hi <a href="/user/marco-rosas-1979" data-id="1979" data-value="mrosa-1979" data-denotation-char="@" class="text-decoration-none mention">@mrosa-1979</a>  According to this, that diagnosis indicates whether the vehicle's engine data is active or not. <a href="https://community.geotab.com/s/search-results?query=Engine%2520data%2520(0%2520%253D%2520inactive%2520%252F%25201%2520%253D%2520active&amp;language=en_US" target="_blank">Search Results</a> You could use it as a rule to determine whether or not the telemetry data generated by the vehicle's engine is sending information, which would allow you to detect any possible faults associated with the car's computer.

Engine data (0 = inactive / 1 = active) Measurement

Hi <a href="/user/edgar-chantes-1748" data-id="1748" data-value="EChan-1748" data-denotation-char="@" class="text-decoration-none mention">@EChan-1748</a>  The main difference is that engine speed is related to the number of revolutions per minute (RPM), while fuel consumption is simply the number of litres or percentage of fuel consumed by the engine. They are indirectly related to each other, but they are independent measurements, which, as <a href="/user/eishifun" data-id="1044" data-value="EishiFUN" data-denotation-char="@" class="text-decoration-none mention">@EishiFUN</a>  mentions, may or may not be provided by the vehicle's ECU.

What is the difference between the readings: Engine Speed and Fuel Consumption?

HI <a href="/user/edgar-chantes-1748" data-id="1748" data-value="EChan-1748" data-denotation-char="@" class="text-decoration-none mention">@EChan-1748</a>  You will be able to see this data through the vehicle's measurements, then you could take a good part of it and transform it into a report.

How can I validate the readings that a GO9 has?

Sometimes it also happens that the device simply cannot obtain this data because the vehicle does not provide that information. When that happens, I go to the vehicle eligibility module in My Admin and verify that the vehicle does indeed not provide that data.

why in MyGeotab I can see an asset with the message "Could not decode VIN"

HI <a href="/user/herb-rayburn-2064" data-id="2064" data-value="HRayb-2064" data-denotation-char="@" class="text-decoration-none mention">@HRayb-2064</a>  If the vehicle provides that engine data, you could check the asset measurements. To do so, you will need to go to Maintenance ---&gt; Diagnostics ---&gt; Measurements.

finding oil change level in MyGeotab

Yes, you can filter by groups so that you only focus on the vehicles you want to include in the report.

Easy way to pull Gps tracking for just start and end times?

Hi! You could use the time card report, which focuses precisely on the start time, end time, and amount of time spent driving. I think that could help you.  <img src="/forum/plugins/gcs-uploads/files/069Pd00000SEJQzIAP.png" alt="image" />
