How difficult would it be to replace components in an existing add-in with a Zenith Component?

It depends. If you already use the React framework, replacing your existing components with Zenith components shouldn't be too difficult. If you're not using React, you can inject React into your current add-in using a wrapper however this might get a little bit complex if that components needs to interact with other components on the page.
