How to set up API links for tacho analysis

when we create a new database, we also add API's for the tachograph files to be sent to our other service provider Convey. Historically we were able to create and add a password to Convey and they would request the API. This was working all good.

But I have been advised that we cannot setup passwords now and hence trying to fix this. So please advise as without password Convey cannot access the API

@iinfo-5453 It sounds like you have run into the recent Geotab Central Identity and Access Management update. In mid-2025, Geotab changed how third-party integrations (like Convey) authenticate to improve security.

The "traditional" way of creating a user with a manual password and sharing it is being phased out in favour of Service Accounts, these are for API use ONLY
