Next-Gen MyGeotab is a simpler MyGeotab experience built around a fleet’s workflow. New databases load industry-specific tools on first login. Users get a clear left-side menu, global search, and a workspace they can personalize. Marketplace is built in, so you can find, buy, and launch apps without leaving MyGeotab.

Why it matters
  • Industry-relevant tools, reports, and apps load on first login, so teams start with what their work needs. Admins can set the starting layout for their teams.
  • A clear left menu keeps your most-used apps one click away. Use global search to find assets and rules, and use direct page shortcuts to skip multi-step menu paths.
  • Pin and reorder the apps and reports you use most, and hide the ones you don't. Admins can set a shared starting layout and choose whether users can change it.
  • Search Marketplace from inside your workspace and install Geotab-built and third-party apps in one click. Available apps depend on your reseller's Marketplace settings.
How it works

Classic stays the default during Open Beta. Admins opt in per database by turning Preview on, and can onboard users in stages. When an admin turns Preview on for a database, all available apps are installed for that database. Nothing changes automatically. Users will notice a new left-side menu and workspace layout, and admin-set layouts may limit what users can change. Turnkey setup applies to new databases only.

Availability

Open Beta begins November 4, 2026. The FedRAMP and Commercial Government rollout is planned for November 18, 2026.
