Viewing video recordings

Viewing video recordings! Let's get started. Navigate to the Recordings page in MyGeotab by either selecting Video, then Recordings, or searching for Recordings in the menu. You can also open recordings while reviewing an asset, a trip, or an event report. Each recording shows the event type, driver name, asset name, date, and time stamp of the recording. Use these details to identify the recording and confirm it relates to the incident you want to review. Select Filters to narrow the list of recordings. You can filter your recordings by groups, assets, drivers, rules, date range, and more. You can also include failed recordings, custom recordings, or dismissed event recordings in your search. Open a recording to review the video and its related incident details. Choose the viewing option that best supports your review, or download the recording for later use. The Event details section provides context about what happened and where the recording was captured. You can upload related documents or leave comments. Add this supporting information to keep the incident record complete and provide context for other reviewers. Open the More menu to access more options for this recording and its related incident. You can use these actions to update the event rule when appropriate, review the complete trip, or share a direct link to the recording. Congratulations! You've completed this tutorial for how to view video recordings.
