Hello <a href="https://community.geotab.com/s/profile/0052J000008dZz7QAE" target="_blank">Tucker_BA</a>,   Nice to meet you.  To be honest - I was very surprised at this, why do you lay down such logic?why do you plead for the ignition ON? hmm.  My logic is this:It does not matter if the driver has the ignition turned on or not during refueling, the main thing is that the Geotab tracker is in touch and can read the Correct value of the Fuel level - before filling into the tank, and at the end of filling into the tank, for a certain time.So this will give us the most accurate level of added fuel. Naturally, provided: 1) that the car is more or less modern (well, at least produced in 2015 and later) 2) the Geotab tracker can read the VIN code from the car and automatically fill it in "Vehicle edit page", without entering manually (this is already a good indicator that there will be fuel data) 3) in the Geotab database - there must be a profile for this car and supported good % (70-80 % Fuel level support, and more up to 100%) (i mean file - Vehicle Type and Engine Data [PUB]) at Geotab - engineers have developed a UNIQUE algorithm that allows see - Fuel level added, and without installing and Fuel Level sensors additionally and external.in our country customers love that featureBut - accuracy is NOT good as expected, and this is bad thing )) hehe (discrepancy 5-10 L or more in most cases) Your solution is looks very promising, but it need to be tested in certain Cars/ Trucks, especially when there are NO support for Fuel card integration, and we are outside of USA continent.  And I'm almost sure that I'm not the only one who would like the maximum accuracy of Gas stations Refueling for cars, even if there is a supported Profile in the Geotab database, so that the discrepancies are 1-2-3 liters, but not 5-10.Sorry for long post, but this is it )))😀  --------Did you tested option - fill Fuel tank capacity = 0 ? (or empty). and compare Accuracy of fill-ups?this is really interesting.Because in USA there are many modern vehciles, that have good support indicators(%).we have mostly not good/ not modern vehicles, sadly. how does this affect the accuracy of refueling on specific vehicles, for which there are ready-made profiles? also looking forward into your solutions - "BlueArrow Telematics", but sadly they available only for Canada/USA Fuel operators.

Discrepancies between Geotabs and fuelling stations

Hello Joy B, So the fact is that at the beginning I manually set in 600 liters of the volume of the tank.And seems = it turns out that the accuracy has worsened in this way, vice versa.😮

Hello Colleagues,  Yeah, great ticket!We also have Issue with Accuracy of Fuel added level (Liters) for example, truck Ford cargo 1848T - has Fuel Tank = 600Lin settings i filled this value. But, when customer analyze Accuracy of Fill-ups-  they wondiring that some times there is Big difference (Volume of Fuel added (auto by Geotab)) VS. Fuel added (Fuel operator) ) discrepancy сan vary between  1 - 20 L. !!20L cost much money. Question: If - Fuel tank capacity which - change value from 600L -&gt; to 0 (or empty) - DOES it helps to improve accuracy or not?
