For many years, the MyGeotab Product Guide served as a single source of truth for platform documentation. As the product grew, the guide grew into an enormous document carrying all feature information. To better suit how users learn and search for information today, we are working towards retiring this guide, and replacing it with focused, individual articles on the Geotab Support site.

What's changing?

Instead of one massive document, product documentation is now broken down into individual articles on the Geotab Support Center. Each article covers a single topic or feature. These new pages explain why a feature matters and show exactly how to use it. They also provide direct troubleshooting guidance so you know what to do when something goes wrong.

Why it matters

This change makes finding information much easier. Whether you search through Google, use an AI assistant like ChatGPT or Gemini, or browse the support site directly, you will land on the exact article you need. You no longer have to scroll through a single heavy document to find a specific answer. This focused approach helps you quickly understand features and get the full value out of the platform.

What you need to do

We are targeting August 14, 2026, to officially deprecate the old MyGeotab Product Guide.

  • If you have a bookmark to the Support Center version of the Product Guide, you will be automatically redirected to the new help articles.
  • If you have a bookmark to the Google Docs version of the guide, you will receive a deprecation message containing a link to the new articles when you open the document.

We encourage you to update your bookmarks ahead of the change to the new MyGeotab help articles page.
