Geotab Video Coaching now works on the Surfsight and Xirgo cameras your fleet already operates: no hardware swap, no additional cost. Fleets running mixed camera deployments previously had no unified coaching experience, safety managers had to toggle between third-party camera portals and MyGeotab, and Surfsight/Xirgo events didn't contribute to the Driver Safety Score, creating blind spots in fleet-wide risk visibility.

• Coach every driver from one place ( GO Focus, Surfsight, Xirgo, or a mix) without switching systems.
• Smart Driver ID uses facial recognition to automatically identify the driver in every event, so coaching and safety scores tie to the right person even in shared or multi-driver vehicles.
• Magnitude Ranking scores events by severity and Smart Sequence jumps to the most critical moment in each clip, so managers spend less time reviewing and more time coaching.
• Video retention is now 365 days, up from 30, giving teams a full year of footage for coaching, compliance, and incident review.

Eligible for databases with active Surfsight AI12, Surfsight AI14, or Xirgo subscriptions at no additional cost. The feature is opt-in: users see the option when they land on the video tab in MyGeotab and must enable it. At launch, real-time in-cab voice alerts, live streaming, Enhanced Recall, and event dismissal are not yet available. Not available for FedRAMP databases.
