Yard Move and Personal Conveyance Exemptions in the Drive App

Yard Move and Personal Conveyance Exemptions in the Drive App! Let's get started. Tap the HOS tile on the Dashboard. Tap View exemptions. Tap Start to enable either Yard Move or Personal conveyance. For this example, we will use Yard move. Enter your annotation and Tap Apply. Tap Stop to turn off Yard move manually. Yard move will turn off after an ignition cycle in both US and Canada. In Canada, Yard move will also turn off if you exceed 32 kilometers per hour. For the next example, we will use Personal conveyance. Note the maximum daily personal conveyance limit. In Canada, if you exceed the daily limit, this feature will deactivate immediately until the next day. In the US, going over the daily limit will simply trigger a notification. Enter your annotation and Tap Apply. Tap Stop to turn off Personal Conveyance manually. After each ignition cycle, you'll be asked if you want to continue using personal conveyance. If you confirm, the exemption stays on. Otherwise, it will turn off after one minute. When you are using one of these exemptions, you'll see it displayed at the top of the status page. When using either exemption, the statuses are intentionally greyed out and cannot be selected. The HOS graph illustrates Yard Move with hashed lines on the "On Duty" line. Personal Conveyance will be indicated in a similar fashion on the "Off Duty" line. Yard Move and Personal Conveyance logs are not editable. Congratulations!
