Adding new asset types

Adding new asset types! Let's get started. Navigate to the Assets page in MyGeotab by either clicking Assets, or searching for Assets in the menu. Click the + menu in the top right to add a new asset type. Select Asset type. Click the + icon under the Groups section connected to Asset Type. Enter a name for the new asset type. We recommend entering a clear description to ensure this new asset type group is easy to identify and manage. You can also select a color for the asset type group. Click Save when finished. Your new asset type will be visible in the Groups Tree. You can now assign it to any asset. Congratulations! You've completed this tutorial for how to add new asset types.
