Hey @CBond-1485 , The Get<DriverHos> call is not documented on our reference page from what I noticed. I would recommend you to please create a support ticket with the database name, exact call that is being made and any other information which you might have so that our support team can work with our HOS team and assist further on this inquiry. Regards,Yash

How are oilfield exempt 24 hour resets handled by the API for the GETDRIVERHOS call?

Hey @CProg-1491 , Thanks again reaching out. I tested the LogRecord call in JavaScript and the from and to parameters worked fine there. Below is the snippet I ran.
api.call("Get", {
"typeName": "LogRecord",
"search":{
"deviceSearch": { "id": "b9" },
"fromDate": "2021-01-01T04:00:00.000Z",
"toDate": "2021-02-14T04:00:00.000Z"
},
"resultsLimit": 100
}, function(result) {
console.log("Done: ", result);
}, function(e) {
console.error("Failed:", e);
});
My understanding is that you are looking for the LogRecord data from January 01, 2021 till February 14, 2021 and I did the above call with passing those date values. Have you tested the call in Java by just specifically passing the date values directly and just checking for one device? Regards,Yash

LogRecordSearch is from parameter is not working for Java SDK

Hey @CBond-1485 , Our sincere apologies for the delay here. Just to understand your question better, is it the Get<DriverRegulation> call that you are utilizing here or Get<DutyStatusAvailability> and also, where did you find the last34HourReset property? If you can please attach the code snippet of your call, that would be great!

@Titan-1317 , You would have to create a ticket with our Support team to find out when your MyGeotab database would be updated to the 2003 version. MyGeotab databases cannot be updated by the end users unfortunately. Feel free to reply back here if you have any other questions or concerns.

MyGeotab SDK GetFeed DVIRLog not returning odometer in model

Hey @Titan-1317 , Is the MyGeotab database version you are pulling the data from on 5.7.2003? It wouldn't make any difference if you update the dependency or the DLL to that version. The actual MyGeotab database version should be on 2003.

Hey @Titan-1317 , Adding to what @Nina-1043 said above, you can find that information under the What's New section of our Reference page on the below link. https://geotab.github.io/sdk/resources/new/ Below properties would be available under the DVIRLog object after the database is upgraded to version 5.7.2003

Hey @AShin-1308 , Thanks for reaching out through the community. You are using the correct approach to get users with specific Authentication type and we'd have to investigate on why using the authenticationType parameter is not working. Same applies for the hosRuleset property as it retrieves all the users and does not filter users based on the Ruleset value entered. I have reproduced the same on my end as well. However, the other properties such as name, firstName, lastName etc are working fine but the results are not getting filtered for the above properties. I would be working with our development team to investigate further on that. In the meantime, you can use an example call like below to get all users with the Authentication Type as Basic Authentication
api.call("Get", {
"typeName": "User",
}, function(result) {
result.forEach(function(user){
if(user.userAuthenticationType === "BasicAuthentication"){
console.log(user);
}
})
}, function(e) {
console.error("Failed:", e);
});
It would return all users with the Authentication type as specified and you can create a similar call for the hosRuleset as well. You can find the Ruleset values by visiting this link https://geotab.github.io/sdk/software/api/reference/#T:Geotab.Checkmate.Settings.HosRuleSet I'll be creating a ticket with you and an email would be sent as well with further updates on our investigation on why the search parameters hosRuleSet and authenticationType are retrieving all users and are not essentially working as expected. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions!

authenticationType and hosRuleSet

Hey @ORemi-1179 , The diagnosticIgnitionId refers to the diagnostic ignition identifier and tells you the ignition value whereas the diagnosticVehicleActiveId refers to the diagnostic vehicle active (idle or driving) id. You can find that information below on our SDK Reference page. List of KnownId's

When is it valid to interpolate between status data- MyGeotab SDK?

Hey @ORemi-1179 , Thanks again reaching out and I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. There is no equivalent for status data. When interpolating status data we recommend you do it between data points. With that in mind, for values like RPM you should not interpolate across ignition changes, however, you could interpolate odometer. Feel free to reply back if you have any further questions or concerns.

Hey @INACTIVE - Administrator chandancse08@gmail.com , The parent is not a property of the group object and is only defined by who the group is a child of. There's no direct way of finding the parent group of a child group and you would have to play around a bit. Every group has a unique id value. So you would have to utilize the id values here. I created a similar setup with two groups named as Test Later, ran a simple Get call to know the name and the associated id value as below:
api.call("Get", {
"typeName": "Group",
"search": {
"name": "Test"
}
}, function (result) {
for (let i = 0; i < result.length; i++) {
console.log(`Name: ${result[i].name} ID: ${result[i].id}`);
}
}, function (e) {
console.error("Failed:", e);
});
Below is the output of the above code with the respective id values. You can then make subsequent Get calls and filter the results with those id values as well. There is an other community post that sort of answers this with a sample code as well. Please take a look at that one as well since that might help out too. https://community.geotab.com/s/question/0D52J00007GjIwmSAF/searching-groups-fro-the-group-data-by-the-groupid
