Mixed-fleet management isn't one-size-fits-all, and Geotab is built to support every vehicle regardless of how it connects. Geotab has launched the Geotab Integrated Solution for Nissan in Europe, giving fleet managers an additional, hardware-free path to fleet connectivity alongside standard telematics hardware. By leveraging OEM-embedded telematics already built into supported Nissan vehicles, data is transmitted seamlessly without the need for aftermarket devices, allowing fleets to track a wide range of critical metrics, from vehicle journeys and health to EV-specific battery data, natively within MyGeotab.
This gives fleets the freedom to choose the right connectivity strategy for their mix, accelerating time to first data, minimizing installation overhead, and centralizing insights. All Nissan vehicle data flows natively into MyGeotab alongside mixed-make fleets, enabling centralized control of ICE and EV assets in one environment, with zero hardware procurement, installation costs, vehicle downtime, or ongoing device management.
By connecting directly to factory-embedded OEM telematics via a cloud-to-cloud integration, activation is remote and hardware-free. Fleet managers can activate new Nissan vehicles without any installation. It's compatible with Ariya, Juke, Leaf (Leaf 2 and New Leaf), Micra ICE, Qashqai, and X-Trail models from production year 2019 onward; cross-badged models built by another manufacturer and sold under the Nissan badge (such as the Micra EV, Townstar, Primastar, and Interstar) are out of scope. Ordering and rate plan activation are available on day one via MyAdmin using Product Code 10065 (Nissan Premium / Nissan VIN ODO rate plans).
