When adding a new user, MyGeotab now presents an option to postpone the verification email. This functionality extends to bulk actions as well, supporting delayed verification during large-scale user imports via our external GitHub-based tool. This ensures that whether you are adding one user or three hundred, you control the timing of their first login.

This update addresses the challenge of premature system access, where users might attempt to log in before permissions or SSO integrations are finalized. By delaying the invitation, administrators can fully configure the environment to ensure a polished first impression. This leads to reduced friction for end users and fewer support requests regarding failed login attempts.

This feature is currently rolling out to Beta users. To enable the Delay Verification Email feature, navigate to Account > Options > Beta Features and toggle the option to On.
