Setup Process

Table of Contents

Introduction

This document outlines the setup process required to systematically import Corpay (previously Fleetcor) fuel card transactions into a MyGeotab database.

! IMPORTANT: Geotab only supports integrations using Comdata’s Account ID. We do not support Comdata hierarchies (customer IDs).

! IMPORTANT:

  1. Clients must work directly with their Corpay account manager to have their Corpay account added to the daily data feed with Geotab.
  2. This document covers support for Corpay cards and providers under Corpay such as Fuelman and Comdata cards. Integration only supports Comdata Mastercard fuel cards. Comdata proprietary cards are NOT supported.
  3. Support is limited to AC00029 and AC00064 file formats. We do not support any other file formats.

Corpay setup process

This section outlines the timeline of adding Corpay integration to a database.

! IMPORTANT: You may complete your fuel card integration setup in the Fuel Transactions page after completing Step 1. Disregard steps 2 and 3 if you have enabled the Fuel Transactions feature under Beta Features.

! IMPORTANT: Some fuel cards may not be supported by the standard integration. For confirmation, reach out to your fuel card provider to verify whether they have a supported integration with Geotab for your product.

Request to add transaction to the Geotab file

  1. Contact the Corpay Relationship Manager or the Corpay Customer Service team. For accounts handled through a Corpay partner, contact your fuel card Account Representative.
  2. Customers must sign the Corpay Data Release Form to authorize Corpay to release fuel transaction data to Geotab. Contact your Account Representative to complete this process.
  3. ✱ NOTE: Your Corpay Relationship Manager, Customer Service Representative or your Corpay Partner Account Representative will notify you when fuel transaction data is ready for integration into Geotab.

  4. Register VINs for each vehicle with Corpay.

✱ NOTE: If the VINs are not associated with the card numbers, then the transactions will not be matched with the correct asset telematics device. This is the most common reason for ’not assigned’ fuel transactions.

Enter Account ID on the Fuel Transactions page

Once you have completed the steps listed on the above setup documents, navigate to Fuel and Energy on the left-hand menu, click Fuel Transactions, and then select Fuel card integration to enter your account number and choose the appropriate provider.

Allow a few days for the data to populate onto the page. If the data is not populating after this period, check with your provider to ensure the data is being shared with Geotab and confirm your account number.
