Moving a GO device to a new asset

Moving a GO device to a new asset! Let's get started. Navigate to the Assets page in MyGeotab by either clicking Assets, or searching for Assets in the menu. Search for the asset you want to remove the GO device from. Click on the Asset name. Click the Devices & Settings tab. Copy the GO device serial number. You will need the serial number to move the device to a different asset. Click Remove. Select to either Keep asset active or Archive asset. Click Remove. At this point, ensure the device has been physically moved to the appropriate asset in your fleet. Click the + menu in the top right to add the new asset with the GO device. Select Single asset. Enter the serial number copied from the old asset. Fill in the Asset name and any Groups the new asset should belong to. Click Save when finished. Congratulations!
