We launched Notifications in Advanced Routing & Optimization, letting teams build reusable message templates and timing rules that automatically send SMS, email, or webhook updates, with a live tracking link, to customers and drivers as appointment or visit status changes.
We released Consolidated Camera Settings, Two-Way Audio, and Collision Causality for GO Focus Plus and GO Focus Pro, so fleets can fine-tune event thresholds, call drivers through the camera, and see the likely cause of collisions, with timestamped factors to guide coaching and claims.
We deprecated the Legacy Possible Collision rule and recommend moving notifications, reports, and integrations to the Major and Minor Collision rules, which Collision Reconstruction now supports. The Legacy rule keeps working for now, and past Legacy events remain accessible.
We renamed the "Edit built-in rules" clearance to "Administer Built-in Rules", which now also lets users turn Stock Rules on or off, so you can separate who manages Stock Rules from who administers exception rules.
We added a notice in the rule editor that appears when an email recipient doesn't match an existing user account, explaining that emails to that address won't include report attachments.
We will update MyGeotab to correctly process the permanent standard-time offsets in British Columbia and Alberta, so trip records, reports, and Hours of Service day boundaries show the right local time for accounts set to the appropriate time zone.
We are adding a Split Sleeper Berth display toggle to the HOS Status page in Geotab Drive, so drivers can choose whether their screen shows the extra hours a completed split earns, without changing HOS calculations, logs, or violations.
We will begin shipping the Link Labs E9 and E8 Bluetooth tags as the GO Anywhere Tag and Mini-Tag, now rebranded under Geotab and managed in MyGeotab like any GO device.
