Asset inspections

An overview of asset inspections in Geotab Drive.

Asset inspections help you track the health of your vehicles and trailers. Also known as a pre-trip inspection or circle check, this workflow in Geotab Drive lets you flag any mechanical defects or safety hazards that could lead to breakdowns, accidents, or regulatory violations.

This feature can be enabled/disabled by your admin.

The Asset Inspection screen always appears when logging in to Geotab Drive, and also when logging out if the vehicle has moved.

It can be accessed at any time from the Dashboard by tapping Asset Inspection (for example, to flag an issue with the vehicle that happened mid-shift).
