About
The Geotab Community is getting an upgrade. Between July 13 and July 15, we will be migrating the Community to a new platform fully integrated with the Geotab Support Site -- bringing a cleaner experience with all your Support and Learning resources in one place.
The Community platform: The Geotab Community will move to a new platform integrated with the Geotab Support Site. During the migration window (July 13-15), the current Community will enter a temporary read-only mode, meaning you will be able to browse and read existing content but posting will be paused until the new platform is live.
User accounts: We will be migrating all active users -- defined as anyone who has logged in within the past year. If you are unsure whether your account qualifies or want to confirm your account will be migrated, reach out to the Community team at community@geotab.com.
Forum content: We will be carrying over a selection of high-value forum posts to the new platform. Not all existing content will be migrated, so we encourage you to save anything you would like to keep before July 13.
The Feedback Hub: The Feedback Hub will not be migrated to the new platform. In its place, a Feedback Form will be available on the Geotab Support Site as a streamlined way to continue sharing your ideas with our team. All existing Feedback Hub submissions will be removed over the coming weeks. Every submission has been reviewed by our Product Development team and has informed our product roadmap -- we are grateful for every piece of feedback shared.
Reputation points: While the points system for participation will continue on the upgraded Geotab Community site, the specific activities that earn points and the point values for those activities may change. Furthermore, the Perks Program will be paused for July and is scheduled to resume in August.
This migration brings the Geotab Community into a more connected, cohesive support experience. Rather than navigating separate destinations for community discussions, help articles, and learning tutorials, everything will live under one roof -- making it faster and easier to find answers, connect with other users, and get the most out of your Geotab products.
The legacy Geotab Community site is scheduled for deprecation on July 15, 2026. To prepare for this transition:
