Sending messages to assets or drivers

Sending messages to assets or drivers! Let's get started. The MyGeotab messaging feature enables communication between administrators in MyGeotab and drivers in the Drive App. Navigate to the Messages page in MyGeotab by either selecting the Messages icon in the top right, or searching for Messages in the menu. As an administrator, you can view which messages you have sent, which have been delivered, and which have been read, organized by Assets or Users. Select the message icon in the top right to start a new message when you are ready to contact a driver or asset. Message Users directly, or message an Asset so any driver who logs into that asset can view the message. Mark every intended recipient before continuing. Select Compose message after you have selected the recipients. Write the message for the selected recipients. You can also add canned responses that drivers can choose from. Open the canned reply options to attach predefined responses to your message. Use an existing reply, or open Edit presets when you need to add new response options. Keep each response on its own line so drivers can choose from separate options, then select Add when finished. Review the recipients and message, then send it when the content is ready. When drivers respond to messages, MyGeotab sends Notifications so you can follow up. You can Search for a specific conversation by entering a relevant word or phrase. Open the Filters menu to narrow the messages shown. Refine the results by date, delivery status, or whether system messages are included. Apply your selections to update the messages shown.
