Managing HOS logs in the Drive App

Managing HOS logs in the Drive App! Let's get started. Tap the HOS tile. Tap the Logs tab. Use the arrow buttons to move between days, or tap the date to open the date picker menu. Tapping the day you wish to view will load that date. Scroll down on the page and tap any log to view more details or edit it. Tap the pencil icon to edit the log. Note: Logs with an 'Automatic' origin cannot be edited. Make your changes, then click Done when finished. Enter an annotation for the edit. Tap Save when finished. In addition to the logs generated by the system, you can manually create logs. Tap Add log at the top of the page to create a new log. Set the log status, date, and vehicle, then enter an annotation for the new log. Tap Add when finished. The created log appears on the graph and in the list below. Logs that require attention will trigger the Information pane at the top of the page with details of the required actions Tap in the Yellow Box to open a list of dates with logs that require actions Tap on a Date to open that date to take action Our first example will cover accepting carrier edits that your administrator has suggested. These pending edits need to be accepted or rejected by the driver to take effect. Tap on the log to view more details. Tap 'Accept' to add the edit to your logs. Tap 'Reject' to decline and remove the suggested  edit. An alternative option to accept pending edits is to accept and verify in one action by tapping 'Accept and Verify' in the day's header. You can then choose Agree or Not ready. Tap Agree to accept the edited log and verify the logs for the day. Our next example will address logs with a missing location. After choosing the date, scroll to the log with the missing location and tap the log. It will be asking 'Where was this?' Tap Where was this? Add the details of the Address and tap OK Add an annotation to the log and tap Save Alternatively, you can add an address to the log by tapping directly on Where was this? and entering the address details as previously shown. The address is now updated. Our last example will resolve the Unverified logs in the information pane. After choosing the date, tap Verify to verify the logs on that date. You can then choose Agree or Not ready. Tap Agree to verify the logs. The logs for the day are updated to Verified. Continue working through the actions in the Information pane until there are no actions remaining. Congratulations! You've completed this tutorial for managing HOS logs in the Drive App!
