Moving a GO device to an existing asset

Moving a GO device to an existing asset! Let's get started. Navigate to the Assets page in MyGeotab by either clicking Assets, or searching for Assets in the menu. Search for the asset you want to remove the GO device from. Click on the Asset name. Click the Devices & Settings tab. Copy the GO device serial number. You will need the serial number to move the device to a different asset. Click Remove. Select to either Keep asset active or Archive asset. Click Remove. At this point, ensure the device has been physically moved to the appropriate asset in your fleet. Find and select the asset to move the GO device to. Click the Devices & Settings tab. Click Swap. Enter the serial number copied from the other asset. Click Swap. MyGeotab will confirm that the device has been swapped to this asset. Congratulations!
