Hello all,
We are looking for way to track our chemical spraying, and would like to know if anyone has had experience in being able to run a report overlaying routes on the map showing spray on/off with local weather conditions data points included. If so would it be possible to have a list of what hardware was being used to achieve this.
We would be interested to know:
What type of equipment setup you are running.
What additional hardware or integrations would be required.
How the data would be displayed in Geotab.

Hey @trevordaniels,

Great question - thanks for asking in the Geotab Community!

I asked our Marketplace team and was informed that we don't currently have a solution for this that is integrated out of the box into MyGeotab. However, they did have an idea involving leveraging a sensor that could track spraying on/ off and connecting that to the GO Device via an IOX or directly with the Next Gen GO Device. If this was done, rules could be set up in MyGeotab that could reflect spraying on and off and have it show up on the map. Integrating this with local weather conditions would require leveraging an API.
