Geotab is connecting its CARB Clean Truck Check program directly to Work Order Management, closing a gap between compliance monitoring and maintenance action. Previously, when a vehicle failed an emissions test, compliance and fleet managers had to manually create a work request with no automated link back to the originating failure, its deadline, or the specific failure reason.

Why it matters
  • A CARB failure now automatically generates a high-priority work request in Work Order Management, complete with the test date, failure reason, and applicable compliance deadline.
  • When the work order is completed, status flows back to the emissions compliance page, giving both compliance teams and fleet managers a full audit trail from failure to resolved repair.
  • For California fleets managing Class 4+ heavy-duty vehicles, the legal obligation to repair after a failed emissions test is no longer tracked manually across two separate systems.
Availability

Launching to all databases on August 24, 2026.
