It would be wonderful if we could access unprocessed (or minimally processed) data through the data connector. Most of the pre-made reports have a very high signal-to-noise ratio, and almost nothing is actionable. I'll have plenty of "inspiration" that you can plagiarize in the future, but for now, if we can avoid funneling pre-built aggregates + summaries into the main reports, that would go a long way towards real performance monitoring.

That will require an inconvenient investment. The data is already stored, normalized, and protected by standard security measures; moving it around just to build reports seems a little too over-engineered for my taste.
I love the idea of 100% control, but I can't put that kind of work into building and maintaining a solution, especially when it's far outside the scope of my regular job duties. Additionally, I hope to make changes that everyone will benefit from, so the changes will need to be a permanent feature in the Geotab platform.
@Charlie_5 how many databases are you accessing? What format are you looking for? Do you have an ingestion API? Depending on what you are looking for you can use our Fleet Unify EzFlowZ integration to direct data to your system.
